About the Journal
Founded in 2022 by a group of political science scholars and intellectually supported by Istanbul Institute of Political Strategy, the Journal of Politics and Strategy (JOPS) aims to encourage research in political science and international relations, especially political theory, strategic security, ideology, and military studies.
JOPS is committed to continuing to publish strong papers in all areas of political science, which include but are not limited to the following categories:
Political Philosophy
Political Theory
Political Economy
International Relations
Area Studies
Military Studies
Political Theology
Democracy Studies
Editors aim to provide authors with an efficient and high-quality review process. Where articles are sent out for full review, authors receive careful reports and feedback.
We try our best to uphold objective and neutral review standards to provide space for pluralist positions.
The journal is based on Gold Open Access. Online readers don't have to pay any fees. For authors, all Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived. We believe that the diffusion of knowledge should not be limited by Article Processing Charges.
